Autopilots and live cruise between suns
Leaping about without gravity's chains
Levity glimmers reflecting young ones

Years ago decades maybe centuries
Our team of Omega Knights came to Earth
Universal time space travelling species
Return to this world human normal birth

Serve in military U.S. Air Force
Enlisted security response team
Lead armed first contact teach course
Form elite unit join civilian stream

one Great Creator
holds clear title to this Sphere
magnets mud and all

length width depth formless
nothingness before chaos
infinite zazen

open empty space
17 dimensions deep
good place to put stars

Great Creator speaks
each word a new universe
shining and vital

in the beginning
One first flash not some big bang
order from chaos

Orbitz by Design
every star lets there be light
see that it is good

vacuum filled with light
forever after shoning
Lotus from the swamp

galaxies are born
live through their allotted time
become something else

our Big Bang one pulse
cycle of open and close
heart of the Monad

mind of God creates
planets of evolution
universal truth

made after His kind
every star has its species
given eyes to see

thus spake Creator
light Shall be for eyes to see
fill this void with it

let light spread and grow
gathering in galaxies
shine on countless worlds

each world shall wonder
at the beauty in its way
light shall become life

each spectrum of life
shall share it'sworld of lit's
so there shall be love

love from life from light
ever after balancing
against cold darkness

now let there be light
evolving life into love
on worlds without end

love of creator
creation and each other
shining ceaselessly

wisdom between stars
each a unique entity
alive and aware

Cassiopeia
wait upon her starry throne
to be recognized

the Seven Sisters
Pleiadean galaxy
sends earth fond greetings

man is part of Earth
Milky Way galactic life
Universal Mind

1000 stars shine
within 100 light years
these are our neighbors

ancestral home stars
elders and younger cousins
whose lives are precious

let us become friends
open sharing light life love
we with eyes to see

let's evolve past war
peace and love to you and yours

Killed by tainted verse
Unidentified victim
Radioactive

Exotic poem
Attracts curious reader
Dripping vitriol

Extreme allergic
Reaction resulted in
Death of some poor schmuck

Industry spokes folks
Encourage illiterates
Stay away from words

Acrostic rensaku is a literary form of my own device, which when consumed may result in fatal episodes of insight. Haiku Reader Dies is the result of dangerous clinical experimentation which led to the demise of that poor schmuck. Don't tell anyone. I was never here.

Taking time to act like Dad
With little haiku left to add
I thought I'd try my hand at rhyme
To fill a certain unused time

Perhaps acrostic eye enjoys
Opinionated writer noise
Escaping from these fingered keys
Talent  turns a term to please

Among such well wove tapestry
Yearning to seem well rehearsed
Strangely outside insight versed

Granted this is not those works
Once the reader unlike jerks
Notices the time it took
Expressing thoughts found in no book

Acrostic poetry is a lot of fun to write, maybe no so much to read. Ah well, this is the nature of the beast.
This is also a type of meta-poetry akin to the rensaku among my writes. A work is considered Meta when mention is made of the work itself, the writer, the venue, the media of presentation, or the mechanics of writing. Twit Poet Days Gone involves at least three of these defining functions of meta. That this was composed entirely on a laptop keyboard, while online, with no pen or paper involved is, in my opinion, another facet of meta which should be explored and typified.

Border collie snores
Dreaming through afternoon nap
Creature of habit

Hungry for kibble
A quick brown fox jumps over
The lazy gray dog

Watching from afar
Raccoon wants to join the game
And win free kibble

Aggressive raccoon
Invading territory
Nudge bowl clattering

Dreaming dog whimpers
Startled fox bolts raccoon holds
To see what happens

Stealthy scavenger
Executes a daring raid
Stealing from dogs bowl

Dream turns to nightmare
Dog wakes up to find raccoon
Munching on kibble

Armed with razor claws
And defiant attitude
Raccoon stuffs his face

Border collie growls
Raccoon does not want this fight
Outweighed by five times

Raccoon waddles off
While the dog yips a warning
Next time he might bite
